:bulletblue: The Pumpshire W.I.P. Journal - the theoretical backstage of my main gallery.

:bulletblue: The Pumpshire Times - info on commissions, requests, gift arts, etc.

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I updated my journal so I guess the time to do it has finally come. Thinking about it, I used to enjoy writing journals and blog entries but times seem to have changed somehow. I dunno whether I've become even lazier or whether writing about myself has become tiresome/boring for me:) So I'm just gonna write a few words about everything so as not to bore you to death.

First up, I'm currently on holiday on the tip of Poland, that is, the Hel Peninsula. Basically, Jastarnia is one of those places I'd call a backside of beyond. Why? Because there's no Internet here except for one hardly working hotspot in the nearby park and my iPhone's Internet connection which is surprisingly useful at times (for example for writing journals ku ku ku...). Oh, there's also one Internet cafe but it's too far away to bother every day. But there's just one thing I'll need the Internet for in a couple of days, the rest is just an addition. But this in a few seconds.

Many things happened during the period between my last entry and the present day. Most importantly, I've become a university student. The results of the Matura exams turned out more or less disappointing for me, personally. The maximum score from [bilingual] English was a given. I was worried a bit about the oral Polish exam but it proved easier than it had seemed, and I scored maximum. I had a presentarion about werewolves in literature and folklore, like a lycanthropologist should :) I was very happy about the results of the written part, 90%. The big disappointment for me were the results from Civics, I hoped for more than 66%. However, I didn't have any high hopes for History, knowing how the exams are marked. But then, I didn't expect to get a mere 50%. So that's that as far as Matura is concerned. After I'd learnt Edinburgh didn't accept me to Scottish Ethnology/English Language combined course (though they did accept me to Scottish Ethnology alone), I decided to do what I'd been thinking about for the recent months - I withdrew my application, thus closing this chapter in my life. Do I regret it? No, not really. At least not yet, but I don't think I will. Things change, you know. Sometimes life changes in a matter of days, it's no big news to anyone. If any you had told me  what would happen no more than a year ago, I would've burst out with laughter right in your face. Now, looking back, I'll just sit back and marvel. Say hello to your new acquaintance, Pumidlo the student of the first year of Japanese at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow.

Before I pass on to more interesting things, things concerning the gallery and the Pumpshiregakure project, let me just say that I'm absolutely thrilled about Kakashi Gaiden being FINALLY animated *forces herself to sit calmly* and coming out THIS WEEK *...!!!* This is the thing I mentioned I'd need Internet for on this forgotten peninsular coast. Okay, okay, okay, yes I'm all hyped-up about the two-episode special (though I think that's too few still...) so I'm shutting up right now or else I'll explode xPP

So now about the Pumpshiregakure project. Although it might seem I'm not doing anything, but this is not entirely true. One of the advantages of being separated from a stable Internet connection and World of Warcraft is that I can peacefully work on the next pages of the comic. I've already finished page 9 and will begin working on the following pages shortly. Also, the draft of page 15 is ready. I fear I'll most certainly exceed 20 pages in the first chapter, but it would be weird to cut its plot the way it would have to be cut to fit into 20 pages :/ Oh well, let's rumble, as long as I finish the chapter, the number of pages won't be that important.

As always, I have written too much. It was to be only a few words, but it turned out as usual :P Anyway, that's about it for the most important things that have happened recently, so I consider the journal more or less up-to-date!
